The new gym floor at the Greene County Community Center is nearly finished, but the gym will remain closed until Saturday to allow paint to cure completely.
All other parts of the community center are open.
The $60,900 floor is a newer version of the original floor put down when the community center was built 20 years ago. Grow Greene County provided $45,900 toward the project, with the remainder coming from PACE and hotel/motel tax revenue.
